Welcome to RecipeSnap (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). We understand the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting it. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand what information we collect and how we protect it; your use of the App constitutes acceptance of this policy.

Information We Collect

To provide core features and optimize your experience, we process the following types of information within the necessary scope:

• Content You Provide: This includes text and images you actively create or upload while using core features like recipe management, meal planning, and grocery lists.
• Data Storage (iCloud): To support data synchronization across multiple devices (e.g., iPhone and iPad), your created content is stored directly in your personal iCloud account. As the developers, we have no access to, nor can we view or manage, any information stored in your iCloud.
• Automatically Collected Information & Third-party Services: We use third-party SDKs to ensure stable operation and optimize performance:
  • Umeng+ U-App: Used for basic data statistics (e.g., daily active users, retention, launch counts). It may collect device information (e.g., IDFA/IDFV, system version) and network information.
  • Tencent Bugly: Used for crash monitoring and diagnostic reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability. It may collect log information (crash stacks) and device IDs.
• Purchase Information: When you unlock Pro features, we do not access your payment details (e.g., credit card numbers). We receive and store purchase records via Apple’s App Store to verify and unlock your membership.

How We Use Your Information

We strictly follow laws and user agreements to use information for the following purposes:

• Providing Core Features: To implement recipe management and sync data via iCloud.
• Product Improvement: To analyze performance and fix issues like crashes or lag using Umeng and Bugly data.
• Security: To ensure safe operation and prevent malicious behavior.
